Tonya Cribb Winthrop University, 1997 B.F.A. in ceramics M.A. Museum Science, Texas Tech University, 2002 One of the earliest influences on my ultimate decision to become a museum professional was working as an undergraduate student assistant. It was then that I was exposed to a variety of artistic media and faced the challenge of combining them for student exhibits. I was also given the responsibility of fundraising for the undergraduate student exhibit which I have found to be an important part of nonprofit vitality. I am so proud to be a part of Brenau. I
like the diversity of working in a small university - you
get to wear a lot of different "hats." One day I'm the
curator of art the next docent/educator/program planner,
the next newsletter editor - anyway you get the picture. I
get the greatest satisfaction out of developing and
guiding the future of the galleries and young art
professionals - It's very creative. |
