| The Brenau University Permanent Art Collection is a series of donated art acquired by President John S. Burd since 1988. Artists from California, New York, Wisconsin, and throughout the South responded to an ad placed in Art in America magazine by Burd asking for donated works to build a permanent collection. Today, that same collection consists of more than 800 pieces valued at almost $3 million. These pieces can be seen all over the campus as well as in the Galleries. Tours of the Galleries are available by appointment; most shows are free and open to the public. To arrange a tour or learn more about the Galleries, call
