Opened in 2002, the John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts offers modern, spacious facilities for dance, music, theatre, and other performing arts productions.  In addition, the art gallery supplies space for exhibits and completes the ensemble of Brenau University Galleries.
The largest performance space in the center is provided by the Hosch Theatre

Description: Brenau University's Performing Arts Center features a Second Empire roofline. Cream-colored stucco walls and standing seam zinc roof provide an elegant background to a stained glass window set into an entry arch that brings color into the lobby, accentuating the curved double stairs and vaulted ceilings.

Architects: Lord, Aeck & Sargent is a full-service architectural firm with over one thousand projects completed since 1942. Services range from master planning and programming to design, construction administration, interior design and facility management support.

Builder: The Winter Construction Company, Atlanta, Ga.
